The Garstang Show on the 4th August 2012 is reputedly one of the Best One Day Shows in the Country. From 8.00 am until 9.00 pm there are very many different attractions catering for all comers which include:
14 different breeds of cattle
15 breeds of sheep including rare breeds
Shire Horses including brewery and private turnouts pulling old style wagons and carts plus Decorated Horse in Gears
Light Horses from Hunters to Shetlands
Rabbits, Pigeons, Poultry,Dog Show and Pygmy Goats
Horticultural and Floral Arts with Children's Craft Classes,
together with Photography and Domestic Science
Craft Tent
Food Hall with tasters and good food to buy
Local Chamber of Trade and Commerce
WI Tent
Young Farmer’s Club Display
Display of vintage tractors and machinery
Parade of Modern and Vintage Tractors
Children’s rides and activities
Over 100 trade stands and shops
