Lancashire is reknown for fantastic food and many hotels and B&B's, restaurants and cafes take great pride in sourcing local produce. Taste Lancashire, co-ordinated by Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board, is a scheme awarded to eating establishments who provide a consistently high quality dining experience and show a commitment to the use of local produce. Examples being Lancashire cheese, Morecambe Bay potted shrimps, Lancashire hotpot, Goosnargh chicken and lamb and beef from Bowland.
